Светокамень — хрупкий, излучающий свет, блок. Подобно маяку, морскому фонарю и светильнику Джека способен светить под водой. Причем свет, который излучает светящий камень, как у огня, лавы и светильника Джека, то есть — максимальная яркость, которая равна 15. Растапливает снег рядом. На блок светящегося камня нельзя поставить двери, повторители и пр. Найти светокамень можно на потолке Нижнего мира и на склонах возвышенностей.

Из светокамня выпадает до 4 единиц светопыли, которую можно использовать как для создания блока, так и в алхимии. Зачарование «Удача» способствует большей добыче светопыли. Для добычи светящегося камня без распада можно применить зачарование «Шёлковое касание».

Когда вы играете в «Майнкрафт», вам в любом случае придется задуматься об использовании каких-либо предметов освещения. Дело в том, что в игре сменяется время суток, и с наступлением ночи становится темно. Без освещения ваши шансы на выживание значительно упадут. При этом стоит отметить, что вам предстоят путешествия, например, в пещеры, где вообще не бывает светло. Многие игроки выбирают для освещения факелы, так как это самые дешевые и практичные приборы, но не стоит думать, что весь арсенал светильников в «Майнкрафте» ограничивается только ими. Вы также можете использовать глоустоун — особый блок, который можно встретить только в Нижнем Мире. Использование

При установке светильник не начинает светиться сразу, так как по умолчанию он настроен на свечение при получении сигнала красного камня.Использование серповидного молота на светильнике позволит сменить его режим.Режимов 6:

• Default Off — светильник не будет светиться, пока не будет подан сигнал красного камня, действуя как лампа (режим по умолчанию);
• Default On — светильник будет светиться, пока не будет подан сигнал красного камня;
• Scaled (Proportional) — светильник будет светиться, пропорционально силе полученного сигнала красного камня. Другими словами, сигнал красного камня силой 10 заставит светильник испускать свет на уровне 10;

How to craft Glowstone in Survival Mode

First, open your crafting table so that you have the 3×3 crafting grid that looks like this:

2. Add Items to make Glowstone

In the crafting menu, you should see a crafting area that is made up of a 3×3 crafting grid. To make a block of glowstone, place 4 glowstone dust in the 3×3 crafting grid.

When making a block of glowstone, it is important that the glowstone dust is placed in the exact pattern as the image below. In the first row, there should be 1 glowstone dust in the first box and 1 glowstone dust in the second box. In the second row, there should be 1 glowstone dust in the first box and 1 glowstone dust in the second box. This is the Minecraft crafting recipe for glowstone.

Now that you have filled the crafting area with the correct pattern, the block of glowstone will appear in the box to the right.

3. Move the Glowstone to Inventory

Once you have crafted glowstone, you need to move the new item to your inventory.

Congratulations, you have made a block of glowstone in Minecraft!

Light source

Sea lanterns emit a light level of 15, the brightest possible light level in the game. They produce the same amount of light as glowstone, redstone lamps, jack o’lanterns, lanterns, beacons, conduits, and shroomlights.

Conduit power

Main article: Conduit

Sea lanterns can be used to activate a conduit by building a structure around it. By doing this, the conduit emits the Conduit Power effect in a certain radius, depending on how many blocks are used to power it. Prismarine, dark prismarine, and prismarine bricks can also be used for this purpose.

Transparent block

The Sea lantern blocks all sunlight, players and mobs suffocate inside it, and it blocks a Beacon beam, preventing the Beacon’s activation. However, like transparent blocks, it does not prevent the opening of chests, monsters (including Slimes) cannot spawn on it, and it does not transfer a redstone signal. This behavior also occurs in Glowstone.

Internal sky light versus time and sky light

The internal light level is used for calculations within the game. The game uses the internal light level of one block to compute aspects of the game, which include mob spawning, plant growth, and daylight detector outputs.

The game uses sky light, time, and weather to calculate an internal sky light value (also known as darkening sky light), then uses the maximum level of the block light and the internal sky light to calculate the internal light (formula: ). This value is an integer with a maximum level of 15; it can also be negative.

Мне хотелось бы напомнить, что светопыль выпадает из ведьм, как и редстоун. Поэтому мне кажется, что судить о его возобновимости только торговлей, было бы ошибочно. Имея нужду именно в этом предмете, а не его «дочке» —
светопыли, не стоит пытаться добыть его с помощью обычного инструмента. Эта оплошность
приводит к распаду блока на пыль. Чтобы цельность предмета сохранялась, нужно
зачаровывать инструмент Шёлковым касанием. Противоположная цель – добыча пыли –
может быть достигнута с большим эффектом, если применить заклинание Удача.

В аду вообще всё непросто. Добыча этого предмета – не
исключение. Обычное для него расположение под потолком делает весьма вероятным
столкновение с гастами. Особенно трудно снимать гроздья светокамня (в подобной
форме часто образуются камешки), нависающие над лавой. Но нередко «фонарик»
генерируется над землёй, что делает задачу его получения уже гораздо более
простой.

Обладая светопылью, игрок может использовать крафт для
получения светокамня.

How to get Glowstone Dust in Survival Mode

You can add glowstone dust to your inventory in Survival mode by mining glowstone. So, let’s get started!

1. Find a Block of Glowstone

First, you need to find a block of glowstone to dig up. You can find glowstone in the Nether.

This is what a block of glowstone looks like:

Glowstone is easy to spot because it will appear as a group of glowing yellow blocks.

TIP: If you are having trouble seeing in the Nether, try drinking a Potion of Night Vision.

2. Use a Pickaxe

You can mine a block of glowstone with anything including your hand, but it is faster to use a tool. In this example, we are going to use a diamond pickaxe.

3. Mine the Block of Glowstone

The game control to mine the block of glowstone depends on the version of Minecraft:

• For Java Edition (PC/Mac), left click and hold on the block of glowstone.

Features

Glowstone has a few key advantages over CraftBukkit:

• It is 100% open source. While CraftBukkit and most other mods are open
  source, they rely on decompiled Minecraft source code. Glowstone’s code is
  completely original.
• Because of this, it is easy to contribute to Glowstone’s development. The
  barrier of entry to contributions is lower because there is no need to work
  around decompiled source or maintain a minimal diff.
• Glowstone supports all plugins written for the Bukkit API natively. In
  practice, some plugins may try to make use of parts of the API which are not
  yet implemented, but in a completed state Glowstone would support all plugins.
• Glowstone’s simplicity affords it a performance improvement over CraftBukkit
  and other servers, making it especially suited for situations where a large
  amount of players must be supported but Vanilla game features are not needed.

However, there are several drawbacks:

• Glowstone is not finished. Nothing is guaranteed to work, though many things
  are likely to. If in doubt, ask in .
• Vanilla survival features are entirely absent (mobs, hunger, health, so on).
  Glowstone cannot yet replicate a vanilla survival environment. These will be
  added over time.
• Bukkit plugins which expect the presence of CraftBukkit-specific code
  (that in the or packages)
  will not work on Glowstone unless they are designed to fail gracefully.
• Glowstone is not produced by the Bukkit team, and while we do make an effort
  to produce quality work, Glowstone does not undergo the same rigorious testing
  as the Bukkit project.

Some of the key features that have been implemented are:

• World loading, saving, and streaming to players.
• Player interaction with the world (building, digging).
• Somewhat-complete inventory support.
• A simple world generator (support for others through Bukkit).
• World weather (rain, thunder/lightning).
