General guidelines
- The first instance of the page title should be bold. This should usually be in the first sentence of the article. No other instance of the page title should be bold. To make a word or phrase bold, place three apostrophes (‘) on each side. For example: . Bold can also be used for emphasis on other words in rare cases.
- All item names should be capitalized (eg. Thorium Blade), including item file names. Words such as «of» need not be capitalized.
- The first instance of an item name on a page should always be linked, via double brackets (eg. ). Further mentions of the same item should generally not be linked, though multiple identical links can exist if they occur far from each other and would be helpful to readers. An example might be one link in the introductory section along with an identical link in a section, table, or template occurring further down. Duplicate links may be especially helpful on larger pages that would require scrolling to find an item’s first mention.
- Be sure to read the page before editing. Editors frequently mistakenly add notes, tips, and trivia items that duplicate information already contained in the article’s paragraphs above.
- Also be sure to add new recipes to the respective recipe list as new pages are added. For instance, when adding a recipe for Thorium Blade using the {{crafts row}} template in the page, add the recipe to the Recipes/Thorium Anvil in the appropriate sub section, adhering to the style of a recipe page. See the Recipe page format for more information.
- Sprites and original images will be added by the admins, as they have access to the source files. Therefore you need not worry about adding images. However, please feel free to add animations and images that depict something interesting about an item’s use in the page. See how it’s done over at Terraria Wiki.
- Whenever a red link appears referencing a vanilla Terraria item, add a to remove the red link and directly reference the vanilla page.
- Images that reference vanilla images will automatically use the vanilla image, unless a different item added by the mod has the same name. For the latter case, uploading the image for the mod’s item would not overwrite the vanilla image, and thus it is safe to do so.

Behavior[]
The Primordials begin the encounter stopped in place as they spawn in before beginning their attack on the player. They each take turns assaulting the player with their own variety of attacks, requiring the player to adapt to the Primordial that is currently out; the Primordials not currently active will be intangible and unable to harm the player. Their order of attack is consistent and only differs if one of the Primordials has been defeated during the fight.
Their order of attack is: Slag Fury, the First Flame, Aquaius, the Endless Tide, then finally Omnicide, the Life Defiler before looping back to Slag Fury. Right before the active Primordial switches out, the inactive Primordials will let off respectively colored particles as a warning.
Slag Fury, the First Flame
Slag Fury, the First Flame is the fire-based spirit of the Primordials. At every 33% life lost, Slag Fury will enter a new phase. It attacks in the following manner:
- In phase 1, Slag Fury will shoot flame bolts and periodically larger flame pulses at the player.
- In phase 2, Slag Fury will continue to shoot flame bolts at an increased rate and periodically unleash a (3-5-3) spread of flame pulses.
- In phase 3, Slag Fury will start to rapidly fire a triple-spread of flame pulses instead of flame bolts, and will periodically charge up to unleash a ring of 15 homing fireballs.
Aquaius, the Endless Tide
Aquaius, the Endless Tide is the water-based spirit of the Primordials. At every 25% life lost, Aquaius will enter a new phase. It attacks in the following manner:
- In phase 1, Aquaius repeatedly fires a triple-spread of water bolts at the player with increasing intensity.
- In phase 2, Aquaius will continue to fire water bolts, and periodically stops to summon 6 Aquaius Bubbles to chase after the player. The Bubbles will explode on death and leave behind short-lived hazards.
- In phase 3, Aquaius will start firing 4 water bolts at once, and stops summoning Aquaius Bubbles. It will periodically pause to summon 6 pairs of horizontally-moving typhoons to close in on the player, telegraphed by small blue beams.
- In phase 4, Aquaius will fire 5 water bolts at once. When it pauses, it will summon Aquaius Bubbles and fire typhoons at the same time.
Summons
Image | Name | Condition |
---|---|---|
Aquaius Bubble | Periodically in phase 2 and 4. |
Omnicide, the Life Defiler
Omnicide, the Life Defiler is the death-based spirit of the Primordials. At every 33% life lost, Omnicide will enter a new phase. It attacks in the following manner:
- As long as Omnicide is active, all nearby players are permanently inflicted with Moon Bite. This wears off once Omnicide switches out with one of its cohorts.
- In phase 1, Omnicide will repeatedly charge at the player, attempting to slam into them. Its speed will constantly increase if it keeps moving in one direction, resetting when changing direction.
- In phase 2, Omnicide will increase the speed and rate of its dashes as well as periodically pausing to summon a rain of green blasts above the player’s position, telegraphed by green beams.
- In phase 3, Omnicide will further intensify its dashes, while adding a semi-circle of laughing death projectiles to its rain attack. These will circle the player before abruptly stagnating in midair (telegraphed by them flashing red a short time beforehand), dealing massive damage on contact. The ring will rotate in a different direction each time Omnicide summons it.

Guardian Angel[]
The Spiritualist can provide protection by paying him 5 Purified Shards. Once paid, the Guardian Angel buff is granted for 5 minutes, giving the player one chance to avoid fatal damage during that time. Upon dying the Guardian’s Exhaustion debuff is applied, making the player unable to receive the Spiritualist’s gift for 10 minutes.
If the player dies and revives again, they are given a random boost for 10 seconds alongside the debuff, out of three options:
Buff | Effect | |
---|---|---|
Guardian — Revenge | All damage is increased by 15%. | |
Guardian — Protection | Damage reduction is increased by 30%. | |
Guardian — Recovery | Life regeneration is greatly increased. |

Mechanics[]
Throwing Damage
The Thrower’s weapons hit with a specific damage type called throwing damage. Accessories and armor can be used to augment throwing damage output, and generic ‘damage’ buffs still increase a Thrower’s damage.
Technique Scrolls
Technique Scrolls are items that, when used, allow the player to perform special abilities, with the type depending on the last Technique Scroll used. For example, Technique — Shadow Dance allows the player to teleport to the cursor’s location. These techniques draw from the player’s Technique Points, which will automatically regenerate while dealing throwing damage.
Thrower Exhaustion
While using non-consumable throwing weapons, such as the Gauss Flinger or Stalker’s Snippers, an Exhaustion Bar will begin to fill up. If brought to full, the player will be penalized with the Exhaustion debuff for 20 seconds. While the player has the debuff, using any non-consumable Thrower weapon will have its damage cut by 20% per use, until they only deal 1 damage. Killing an enemy with non-consumable throwing weapon replenishes 10% of the maximum Exhaustion.
The base Exhaustion cap is an unlisted value of 1200 (1680 with the Canteen, 1920 with the Mermaid’s Canteen, and 2400 with both). Every time a non-consumable weapon is used, twice its useTime is added to the player’s Exhaustion value. Every second, regardless of weapon uses within this time, 60 Exhaustion is recovered unless the player has the Exhaustion debuff. While the debuff is active, the player will recover no Exhaustion for the duration. Once the debuff has fully run its course, the player will recover all of their Exhaustion at once.
