С выходом DLC Lowriders у нас появился своеобразный аналог Los Santos Customs, где определенные авто можно превратить в нечто большее, чем транспортное средство. Завладев нужным транспортом, мы приезжаем к гаражу Бенни (на карте отмечен .), загоняем машину, и самым первым пунктом нам показывают то, зачем мы сюда приехали: выбрав пункт «модификация» мы видим список возможных перевоплащений наших авто и их ценник (у всех авто он разный).
Итак, мы купили модификацию, и уже спустя несколько мгновений перед нами предстаёт обновленный автомобиль, готовый для дальнейших изменений. Сразу стоит подготовиться, что цены будут кусаться, поэтому, для того чтобы получить полное удовольствие от кастомизации вашего железного друга, мы рекомендуем вам заработать как минимум $1,5 млн: суммарная стоимость (авто+модификация) уже начинается с отметки в $371.000, а дальнейшие манипулирования с машиной обойдутся в $500.000-700.000.

Modifications

Benny’s Original Motor Works can apply every category of modifications to the 20 custom cars, including the modifications also available at Los Santos Customs and Beeker’s Garage.
Vehicles can have a range of modifications sorted into unique categories, namely Engine Blocks, Trims and Interior options. Benny’s vehicle can be also modified at other mod shops, but they have limited access to standard categories, meaning interior options are unavailable outside Benny’s.
Benny’s customization options were solely available here. However, it was later available on CEO Offices (with the addition of a private mod-shop) and the Arena Workshop (by hiring a guest mechanic).
Design
Grand Theft Auto Online
The Elegy Retro Custom is based on a blend of multiple generations of the Nissan Skyline GT-R. The vehicle’s front fascia is based on the fourth generation Nissan Skyline GT-R (R33), while the side, rear, and general shape of the car takes inspiration from the third generation Nissan Skyline GT-R (R32), and the tail lamps are from the fifth generation Nissan Skyline GT-R (R34). Further user modification can make the Elegy Retro Custom resemble one specific generation of the Skyline range.
The Elegy Retro Custom is the classic version of the Elegy RH8, appearing to resemble the Elegy from Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas with a more realistic appearance. The front of the car is predominated by the bumper, which features a large rectangular intake with a slanted license plate on the centre, two squared intakes beside it and vertical vents on the sides, near the front wheels. A small extension can be seen at the bottom, also featuring thin vents below the squared ones. On the upper area, the grille features an inset surround and the corresponding «Elegy» badge on the driver side, as well as plastic headlamp housings containing inner circular lamps, middle square lamps and outer triangle-shaped turn signals. The bonnet features a slight bulge on the centre and a manufacturer insignia on the front, which opens to reveal a strut brace over the engine.
The sides of the car denote a simplistic design, featuring a narrow body with slightly wider fenders, together with a detail passing through the doors and a set of skirts. On the cabin area, plastic trimmings can be seen around the windows and on the inner pillars, as well as body-coloured mirror wings. «RH8» badges can be seen on the front fenders.
The rear of the car is distinguished by the wide boot with a ducktail spoiler and the corresponding manufacturer badge on the driver side, as well as the sectioned housings containing the dual red circular tail lamps. The rear bumper makes use of a license plate on the centre, rectangular reverse lights beside the plate and the dual hooks on each side. The bumper also has two mouldings for the exhaust tubes.
The interior of the car is the same as the Sultan RS (itself being a derivative of the «Sultan» interior), although the steering wheel bears the corresponding Annis badge. It can be also modified to feature additional analog gauges, digital displays and numerous switches, in a similar manner to race-type cars such as the RE-7B and the ETR1.
Colour distribution is changed in comparison to the Elegy RH8, where the primary one is applied on the body and the stitches on the steering wheel and seats, while the secondary colour is applied on the bonnet, roof and boot. A trim colour is also available for the inner sections of the seats and part of the door cards, as well as a dial colour. The rims are identical to the «Endo v.2» rims available in Los Santos Customs, able to support a dedicated colour (although only naturally-generated examples from the Content Creator or during missions may have a gold colour).
As of the Los Santos Tuners update, the timing belt and cam pulleys of the «Vernier Pulleys» options are fully-animated, and rotate accordingly when idle or revving up the engine.

Performance
Even without upgrading to its custom variant, the Itali GTB performs exceptionally well in races with excellent handling due to its AWD nature. Durability is fair but can become problematic after taking hard collisions from heavier vehicles.
The engine model appears to be the same single-cam V8 engine found on vehicles like the Cheetah, the Turismo R and the T20, coupled to a 6-speed gearbox in a mid engine, all wheel drive layout (30-70, front to rear distribution). The engine sound is typically high-revving, identical to the one used in the Cheetah.

Benny’s Original Motor Works allows players to fit specialized equipment and accessories to their cars in GTA Online, such as hydraulics, custom stereos, vinyls, engine and interior mods and unique paint-jobs. Unlike Los Santos Customs, where the vast majority of vehicles in the game can be modified, only a select few models can be modified at Benny’s Original Motor Works. It was initially available for selected muscle cars, sedans and vans for lowrider-type modifications. However, with the subsequent updates, this was greatly expanded for selected vehicles for high-performance modifications and full-body «retro» conversions.
Before any modifications can be fitted, the player must pay to upgrade their base vehicle to a «custom» variant, after which the additional modifications unique to Benny’s can be applied. As well as the actual garage, Benny also owns a website under the same name (URL:Bennysoriginalmotorworks.com) which lists the vehicles that are eligible for modification at the shop, as well as allowing players to purchase those vehicles (the prices for which are the same as on the various other vehicle websites in the game).
Fitting parts to the cars is an almost identical process to how modifications are applied at Los Santos Customs, with similar categories. Additional camera angles are provided for the various interior modifications. The original modification options from Los Santos Customs are also available to be applied at Benny’s, although some can only be applied to the base model car rather than the conversion.

- The description on Benny’s website is an obvious reference to the situation where new players would often fill their garages with the free Elegy RH8s.
- The default radio stations of the Elegy Retro Custom are FlyLo FM, Los Santos Underground Radio and Soulwax FM.
- The «Not Tonight Pizzaboy» livery is an obvious reference to the quote «Street’s closed, pizzaboy» from The Fast & The Furious
There’s a small issue with the livery where the Device logo on the left skirt is upside down. This could be a developer oversight.

- In a similar fashion, the «Midnight Racer» livery is an obvious nod to the Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R famously driven by the late Paul Walker in 2 Fast 2 Furious.
- The «Drift Missile» livery is a reference to drift missiles, beater vehicles used as throwaway cars for drifting.
- The «Redwood Racing» livery is a reference to the Gibson Motorsport Group A Nissan Skyline R32 of which wore the livery of Winfield Cigarettes during the Australian Group A championships of 1992.
- The «LTD» livery is a reference to the ADVAN/STP Nissan Skyline R32 GT-R which competed in the Japanese Touring Car Championship.
- The «Meinmacht» livery is a reference to the CALSONIC Nissan Skyline R32 GT-R
The number 23 used on the «Meinmacht» livery is a reference to the number 23 being used on Nissan racing cars as wordplay, as in Japanese it is read as «Ni-San».

- With the correct modifications, the player has the option to remove both of the licence plates, making it illegal on the road.
- The door handle on the right-hand door appears to be absent, though it can still be opened without issues.
- The sticker on the top of rear window is a reference to the R200 Club and Takayuki Kuroki’s FLAT Racing from Wangan Midnight
Through customization, one can modify the car to resemble Reina Akikawa or any various Wangan Midnight characters that use the R32 and R33 from the anime and manga, such as Koichi Hiramoto and Takayuki Kuroki.

General
- The Itali GTB, alongside the Mamba and Penetrator, are the oldest vehicles in the series to reappear as a whole (with the exception of emergency vehicles), as they returned from first Grand Theft Auto.
- The Itali GTB held the longest gap between its last appearance and reappearance, being 19 years and 2.5 months between its last appearance (GTA, released in October ) and reappearance (GTA Online as part of the continuation of the GTA Online: Import/Export update, released on January 10th, 2017), thus beating the Penetrator, which was released nearly a month earlier. It was soon beaten by the Impaler a year later from the release of the Arena War update, followed by the Itali GTO just two weeks later.
- The default radio station for the Itali GTB is Non-Stop-Pop FM.
Grand Theft Auto Online
- Despite its name, the car it is based on is manufactured by McLaren, a British manufacturer.
- Upon release of the vehicle, the «Skirts» customization list appeared with a few mistakes:
- The «Carbon Low Level Skirt» was a secondary-coloured skirt.
- The «GT Skirt» should have been named after the previous option.
- The first «Secondary GT Skirt» was actually a primary-coloured option, and should have been named after the previous one (as the GT Skirts have a small wing at the rear). The second option with the same name was

Кстати, об управлении лоурайдерами:
Активация гидравлики происходит по нажатию клавиши X (на джойстике (А)). Наш авто приподнимается, и дальше мы вольны настраивать положения нашего кузова относительно земле как душе угодно: не отпуская заветную клавишу Х нажимаем Shift/Ctrl для крена вперёд/назад, и A или D для наклона влево/вправо соответственно (на геймпаде достаточно отклонить левый стик в нужную сторону). Более того, нажав одну из клавиш направления повторно, опущенная часть автомобиля поднимется вверх, а при повторном зажатии Х и последующим отпусканием машина прыгнет ввысь всеми четырьмя колёсами.

Срачи о музыкальных вкусах вышли на новый уровень.
Одна из интереснейших опций в Мастерской у Бенни. В большинстве случаев этот пункт позволяет нам разместить в багажнике целую аудиосистему, открыв который мы сможем достаточно громко и отчётливо слышать любимую музыку вне своего авто. А сами наборы колонок и даже целые стены из них приятно порадуют глаз каждого аудиофила.
Другой же вариант данного пункта, доступный только для Баньши, позволяет сделать багажник частью аэродинамической составляющей нашего авто. Впрочем, в отличие от спойлера, никакой прибавки к характеристикам авто мы не получим.

Grand Theft Auto
The Itali GTB resembles a Ferrari 348 GTS. Its name is a parody of Italy, where Ferraris are made.
The design of the car is very simplistic, with a small front compartment and a black portion on the roof.

The Itali GTB returns to Grand Theft Auto Online and is mostly based on the McLaren 570S (front and rear facade) and (rest of the body). It also features some cues from the McLaren 650S.
Featuring an aggressive styling and rounded design, the Itali GTB is distinguished by the large intakes on the front, with carbon-fibre inserts and separations on the lower side and a curved shape above. The upper area is occupied by triangle-shaped plastic housings on the outer sides, which contain seven circular lamps and amber strips on the upper edges, along with a chrome detail that splits the six innermost lamps. There is an openable front trunk with a relatively simple design and has silver «PROGEN» lettering on the front.
The sides of the car have distinctive bulky arches and ridged skirting area, followed by inset shapes passing through the doors and leading towards the rear fender vents. A set of body-coloured mirror wings can be seen on either door, mounted near the A-pillars. The greenhouse area is slightly angled towards the front, having black window trimmings and black separations between the door windows and the rear-quarter windows. The rear window leaves a small cut-out on the upper side that is intended for the extended roof panel, and also exposes part of the engine bay. The rear area is relatively simple in appearance and has an openable engine compartment on the centre.
On the rear, the car makes use of a small exit vent on the centre and two large ones on the outer edges, the latter housing a set of red circular tail lamps and upper light strips. The middle section has an inset area for the license plate and an additional set of red lamps below the outer vents. The lower area is predominated by a single rear-exit vent with dual-exit, dual exhausts on the outer sides, followed by a carbon-fibre diffuser with a single reverse light on the center. The car shares the same interior with the Comet, although it uses the corresponding Progen badges on the horn cap.
The primary colour of the car is applied on the bodywork and the interior stitching, while the secondary colour is applied on the roof and pillars. It uses a set of five dual-spoke rims with a circular centre, wrapped in low-profile tyres.
